Hello admin, good afternoon.
I started a relationship with a lady I met at the shop where I usually buy things. Her name is J...*. She is beautiful.
One of the reasons I easily fell in love with her is her infectious smile and the warmth with which she always attended to me. Sometimes, I had nothing to buy, but I would still show up at the shop just to catch a glimpse of her fellow men here who have ever been in this situation can testify this
The day she agreed to be my girlfriend, I couldn’t contain my joy. I was even happier when she did everything to show me that she was all in.
She called often, and our phone conversations were always engaging. Based on that, I decided to take things seriously. I invited her over to my place.
During her visit, we talked about many things, including my intentions toward marriage. “I don’t want us to waste each other’s time. We should get married as soon as possible.”
To my surprise, she responded, “I am not ready for marriage right now. Even my elder sister is not married yet. So let’s take things slowly. We are still getting to know each other anyway.”
I let her know I was disappointed with her response. “You say it’s not yet your time, but I am in a place where I want marriage within the shortest possible time.”
After a few arguments and counter-arguments, she said, “Okay, we can do the marriage thing. Let’s see how it goes.”
From that day, I started investing my time and energy into making the relationship work. She matched my energy, but only for a few days.
I don’t know what happened to make her behaviour change overnight. We didn’t fight or anything. She just stopped picking up my calls and didn’t return them either. When I kept trying to reach her, she blocked me.
I found out when her number stopped going through and I used a friend’s phone to call her. The call connected, but she hung up the moment she heard my voice.
