What is it that influences children in making good career choices? Environment, Personality and Opportunity play a big Role. While we can't change the first two...in the latter lies endless opportunities. Children have to be given opportunities that will enlarge their minds, motivate them and create a spark.
On Wednesday our Grade 4,5,6 had an academic trip to the Bomet County Assembly and Bomet Law Courts. We sat through the morning session at the County Assembly, listened through debates at the floor of the house. In the Afternoon we interacted with the Magistrates and advocates at the Bomet Law courts. Aspiring Lawyers and advocates took part in a mock court session.
All this is inline with Mentorship- one of our Key pillars which We are deliberate and intentional about.
Our appreciation goes to all the people that made this happen:- Mr Kerich our BOM, Mr Samoei Bii( County Assemby), Advocates Mr Juma & Mr Chitambe ( Bomet Law Courts)

Week 4 Virtue: LOVE
Its Friday!!! Our virtue for this week was Love.
This week i will focus on our Grade 3 Learners, their class teacher, Tr Agnes transitioned to TSC and out of the great love they have for their teacher, they organised themselves under the leadership of Abigael(in pic) to each bring a send off gift. They brought the most thought full gifts🥹...they never shared this with us!! It was a class secret 😆they organised themselves and surprised Tr Agnes on her last day...after the short ceremony our eyes swelled with tears which we all fought hard to hide.
Our loving classroom virtue verse was from Acts 10:38- Then Jesus went around doing good
loving classroom makes a loving nation

Week 3 Virtue:- CARING
Every other day kids come to say hello to me...i get so many " teacher you are smart today😆😆" Emmanuel a PP2 learner is among them, he greets me, ask's me how i am doing every other day. His mother tells me he brags to the rest of the family that he know's me 😀. Last week he brought me a gift to my office...i had to take a picture for future archives.
Character building is crucial at a tender age...our loving classroom program-under Pastor Alice helps us to achieve one of our key pillars- Godly Values.
This week's virtue is CARING- a caring classroom makes a caring nation

Our Environmental club members visited Esther, our Batiem near the school for a tree planting exercise in her compound and also to present water filter donated by Pure Water for Africa Inc. They also carried firewood and milk for her. Now she can have access to clean drinking water, fire to warm her house and enjoy the cool shade from the trees for years to come.
