Tech Adventure | Robocon Day 2

Day 2 at JKUAT National Robocon was truly a tech adventure! Our young innovators had the opportunity to explore amazing robotic solutions designed to solve real-world challenges.

We had so much fun learning, exploring and getting inspired by what other young innovators are creating. Most importantly, we learned that we too can be part of preparing for our future by identifying problems in our communities and creating solutions that make a difference.

At Simi Schools, we are ready to soar high, keep innovating and continue solving problems through creativity and technology.

Kwani si Huduu!!

Who knew building the future could be this much fun?!
Our young leaders were out at JKUAT today for Robocon 2026, bringing pure energy, courage, and that unstoppable spirit to the world of AI and robotics!
Instead of just consuming technology, our leaders stepped up to learn to build and adapt from navigating unfamiliar challenges to leading their own discovery, they showed what true global resilience looks like in action!
Sharing the event with top minds from Alliance High School, Thika School for the Blind, and schools from across the country made the vibe even bigger.

Asante sana to JKUAT, UNESCO, Safari STEM, Zindua, and the Kenya Red Cross for holding it down for our future innovators!

Day 1 was absolute and our leaders are extra ready to bring the heat for Day 2 tomorrow!

Kids: “Mum, I’m bored!” 😭😂

Please, don’t hand them the phone and remote just to keep them quiet! Get our leaders outside! Let them ride bikes, play Kati, kick a ball and run around the estate until their knees are dusty.

Fresh air + play = happy children + early bedtime = peaceful parents! 🙌🏾

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Happy Saturday!
Honestly, isn’t it such a nice feeling to have a Saturday where the kids are just at home, resting, and not rushing for school buses at 6:00 AM?
But let’s be honest… resting doesn't mean sitting on the couch all day watching cartoons while Auntie,Mum and Dad do all the work!

Today, involve those little hands:
🧹 Let them wipe the coffee table or dining chairs.
👟 Assign someone to arrange the shoes at the door.
🧺 Send them to sort out their own clothes or mop the verandah.
Yaani, parenting in Kenya is a team sport! Did you know involving kids in household chores actually builds their confidence, executive function, and long-term responsibility?
