Hope International Academy
This semester’s final club activity was a collaborative 3D layered art project.

Within a limited time, the students shared ideas, planned together, and created an incredible panel artwork as a team.

Through art, they practiced not only creativity, but also teamwork, communication, and learning to respect each other’s ideas.

The colors, details, and overall expression were truly beautiful.
They worked so hard until the very end ✨

今学期最後のクラブ活動は、
チームでひとつの作品を作る「3Dレイヤーアート」でした。

限られた時間の中で話し合い
アイデアを形にしながら、素晴らしいパネル作品を完成させました。

アートを通して育つのは、表現力だけではなく、
協力する力や、相手の考えを受け取る力。
みんなでひとつを作り上げる経験は、きっと大きな力になっていくと思います。

色使いも細かな表現も本当に美しく、最後までよく頑張りました✨

今日は3Dレイヤーアートを行う予定でしたが、予定を変更し、タルー先生をお迎えして「国際交流Day」としてみんなで大きな作品を完成させました🎨

子どもたちは自然に声をかけ合いながら、アイデアを出し合い、協力してひとつの作品を作り上げていました。

Okinawa Young Artist Academyでは、アートを通してコミュニケーションを取ること、そして仲間と共同しながら創り上げることをとても大切にしています。

なお、3Dレイヤーアートは来週31日に行う予定です✨

Today, we were originally planning to do our 3D Layer Art project, but we made a small change to the schedule and welcomed Talu-sensei for a special International Exchange Day 🎨

The children naturally communicated with each other, shared ideas, and worked together to create one large collaborative artwork.

At Okinawa Young Artist Academy, we deeply value communication through art and the experience of creating together through collaboration.

Our 3D Layer Art project will be held next week on the 31st ✨

今日のレッスンでは、金城先生と点描画に挑戦しました🎨

小さな点を重ねながら、色の仕組みを実験しました。
その後は筆だけでなく、綿棒や歯ブラシ、指など、それぞれ好きな道具を使って自由に表現しました。

同じテーマでも、本当にひとりひとり全然違う作品になるのが面白くて、見ているこちらまで楽しくなりました☺️

In today’s lesson with Kinjo-sensei, the children explored pointillism 🎨

By layering tiny dots, they experimented with how colors work and change.
After that, they freely expressed themselves using not only brushes, but also cotton swabs, toothbrushes, fingers, and other tools they chose themselves.

Even with the same theme, every artwork turned out completely different, and it was so fun to see each child’s individuality come through ☺️

Our after-school club at Hope International Academy has started an exciting 3-week project! 🌺✨

The students will work together to create a large-scale 3D layered art piece inspired by the beauty of Okinawa — its ocean, nature, and colorful spirit.

We are so excited to welcome the wonderful artist, Taru-sensei, who will guide the students through this creative journey. 🎨

🎨 体験教室のご案内｜点描画に挑戦しよう

5月17日（日）のレッスンでは、「点描画（Pointillism）」に挑戦します。

小さな“点”を重ねて描くことで、色が目の中で混ざって見える不思議なアート体験です。

今回のレッスンでは、混色や補色といった色の仕組みにもふれながら、ジョルジュ・スーラ（パブリックドメイン）などの作品も参考にし、色と光の表現を楽しく学びます。

アートの楽しさと、ちょっとした科学の発見を一緒に体験できる内容です。

🎨 Art Trial Lesson｜Let’s Try Pointillism

In this trial lesson on May 17th (Sunday), children will explore Pointillism.

By placing tiny dots of color, they will experience how colors visually mix in the eye, creating a fascinating artistic effect.

We will also look at works by Georges Seurat (public domain) as inspiration, while learning about color mixing and complementary colors, and how color and light are expressed in art.

This lesson offers a fun combination of creativity and a touch of science.

絵本づくりを進めた今日のアートクラス📚✨
主人公にしたいキャラクターを考え、みんなで物語をふくらませました。想像が膨らん、おしゃべりが止まらない時間でした☺️🎨

Today’s art class at OCSI was all about creating our own picture books 📚✨

First, everyone imagined and designed the main character they wanted to bring to life.
Then came the fun part… building the story together!

As ideas started flowing, the conversations never stopped 😂
There were so many creative thoughts, funny moments, and exciting story twists shared around the table.

Watching children create characters, imagine worlds, and express their ideas so freely is always something special 🌈🎨
