Starting this week, our new teachers have finally arrived at HJIS and attended a 3-day orientation! They are very excited and looking forward to meeting the students, parents, and the HJIS community.

🏈 English × Flag Football at HJIS

On July 18, Horizon Japan International School was delighted to welcome TD Flag Football Academy to our campus for their second English × Flag Football event.

Around 40 children joined us for an energetic day of movement, teamwork, English, and play in the HJIS gymnasium.

It was wonderful to see children trying something new, building confidence, communicating with one another, and enjoying flag football in such a positive environment.

A sincere thank you to TD Flag Football Academy, the coaches and supporting players, as well as all the children and families who joined us. We are grateful for this partnership and look forward to creating more opportunities for our wider community.

🏀⚽️🏊‍♂️ A Summer of Sports, Discovery and New Friendships!

This summer marked the first sports camp collaboration between ACAS and YCAC, bringing students together for active and exciting weeks at the YCAC facilities.

Each week, the camp welcomed ACAS students as well as children from the wider community to learn new sports, try new activities and enjoy an active summer together.

From soccer, basketball and baseball to swimming, library time, team activities and even watching the World Cup together, there was always something new to experience. Most importantly, students had the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills and make new friends.

We were delighted to see so many students participating throughout the summer and look forward to seeing this collaboration grow even bigger next year!

Thank you to ACAS, YCAC, the coaches, families and everyone who helped make the camp possible. 🌟

The Class of 2026 is ready for the world. 🎓
With DP results now arrived, we are proud to celebrate our graduates and the university offers they received from respected institutions across Japan, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the UK, North America, and Australia.

Their next chapters will take them across the globe, and we could not be prouder.

Nothing says summer like water play!

Our Summer School students had a fantastic time cooling off on the playground while enjoying the warm summer weather. From splashing around to sharing lots of laughs, it was the perfect way to spend the day and this hot temperature in the summer!

Two wonderful weeks of HJIS Summer School have already passed! ☀️📸

From new friendships and creative projects to active learning, teamwork, and lots of smiles, it has been beautiful to see our campus filled with so much energy this summer.

We are especially happy to see how much the number of participants has grown this year. Thank you to all the students, families, teachers, and staff who have helped make these first two weeks so special. 💙
