SDGs Game Show in Toranomon. G-Edu is featuring three SDGs related games: the party game Catcall (for Gender equality), the board game Guardian of the Goals, and the co-creation game for high school students The Inakages (both for all goals).

It was also great to see and play others institutions’ games.

This event was organized by the Kanazawa Institute of Technology, co-organized by Keio University Graduate School of Media Design and supported by UNDP and Rebirth Project.

EBA Philippines Fieldwork 2016 (hosted by University of the Philippines Diliman) has started!

This is a collaboration among ASEAN’s top universities and Keio university to develop human resources capable to identify and solve issues based on the evidence and analysis.

SPICE (Social Platform for Interactive and Collaborative Education) is a web learning platform that will be combined with online courses and realtime classes, resulting in a new style of learning. We have designed “SPICE” in collaboration with members from Brawijaya University since September of 2015.

We conducted an online "Global Workshop" for high school students from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Japan last Saturday. By using some tablets and apps, students created a short video, introduced their own culture/life/environment.

We will have a final (presentation) session next Saturday and very excited to see everyone again!!!

In December 2014, we held a programming camp for our new web-based teaching platform, "WASABI", in partnership with the EBA Consortium and Sakura Science. A dozen students from countries in Asia spent a week in Japan working on the development of this web-based application.

From the end of October to November, we conducted a 3-day online workshop AGORAsia Youth 2014. AGORAsia connected high school students in Japan, Malaysia and South Korea, creating an environment that goes beyond the classrooms walls. Every edition, students are given one topic to work on and this year it was "Building Together a Sustainable Society." To know more about AGORAsia Youth, access the website: http//agorasia.soi.asia

[Inter-connected Maker Party for "Teachers-To-Be" in Asia vol.2]

On Sunday October 11th and 18th, 2014, the Global Education team led 'Inter-connected Maker Party for "Teachers-To-Be" in Asia vol.2' at Mozilla Japan office, Roppongi.
We conducted it from there and participants, who are interested in ICT in education, joined it from Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh.

In the workshop, they experienced webmaking with Webmaker tools, made and used Class-recipe, which is like a recipe to teach something with ICT technologies. And they could also get feedbacks to their own recipe on the Class-recipe website through the discussion.

On Tuesday July 8th, 2014, the Global Education team led a ‘Global Workshop’ session at Keio University’s Shonan Fujisawa campus for a class of students from multiple countries. Participants joined together in an interactive exploration of such areas: as the world with and without information and communications technology; the unseen links between people and nation; and how to take responsibility for the future as members of a Global Society.
