NBC reported live from Los Angeles interviewing our team immediately after the final run at SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition in August 2017.

Ranked fourth in the competition, Keio Alpha performed the first and only end-to-end run in the one-mile Hyperloop system provided by SpaceX.

IMPRESSIONS OF THE SPACEX HYPERLOOP POD COMPETITION II IN AUGUST 2017

Keio Alpha marked an historical moment being the first team shooting a Hyperloop pod end to end through the SpaceX Hyperloop tube. Out of 1.200+ entries from Universities around the globe, our team achieved the fourth rank using magnetic levitation. This is fantastic. We are proud and honored to have designed, built and tested a fully functional pod from scratch. A breathtaking period of passion and resilience has fuelled us with grit for the next challenges and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody helping us on the way.

Keio Alpha is the only team from Japan in SpaceX Hyperloop Competition. We had built the physical pod and race other teams in January 2017 in Hawthrone, LA. We are grateful for all the support and love we received, it was a great opportunity for us to meet a lot of people who were passionate about the same technology. Thank you everybody :)
