Yesterday, we hosted the Korea–Japan Fine Bubble Workshop 🌏

It was an inspiring event where researchers and industry experts shared the latest advances in fine bubble technology—ranging from sustainable agriculture to water treatment solutions.

Highlights included:
✨ Microbubble applications for improving crop environments
🌱 Enhanced seaweed photosynthesis through fine bubbles
💧 Innovative membrane cleaning using ultra-fine bubbles and ozone

It was great to see such active discussions and international collaboration. Looking forward to the next steps and future events like NanoBub 2026!

【開催報告】小さなあわで遊ぼう（KuSuKu）

3月22日、京都大学キッズコミュニティ（KuSuKu）にて、「小さなあわで遊ぼう」という体験型イベントを実施しました。

今回で2回目の開催となり、学年を問わず参加していただきました。ファインバブルという少し難しそうなテーマですが、実際に見て・触れて・遊びながら学ぶことで、楽しみながら科学に触れてもらえたのではないかと思います。

子どもさんの好奇心あふれる反応に、こちらも多くの刺激をいただきました。ご参加いただいた皆さま、そして運営にご協力いただいた関係者の皆さまに心より感謝いたします。

Korea–Japan Fine Bubble Workshop (RISH Seminar) will be held at Kyoto University on March 30.

Researchers from Japan and Korea will share recent research and applications of microbubbles and ultrafine bubbles in areas such as agriculture, marine science, and chemical reactions.

It was a very intensive but rewarding period, with many valuable discussions on fine bubble technology and standardization.

Today, the ISO/TC 281 meeting started in Guangzhou.

On the first day, the Fine Bubble Technology International Symposium was held, and we had many interesting and inspiring presentations. It was a very productive and enjoyable day.

On December 25th, Christmas Day, we were delighted to welcome Prof. Wen Zhang to Kyoto University Uji Campus for a special student lecture (the second RISH seminar).

This lecture offered a great opportunity for young researchers in Japan to engage in direct and lively discussions with Prof. Wen. Beyond fine and ultrafine bubble science, the talk explored a wide range of topics spanning environmental, agricultural, and interdisciplinary research, encouraging students to think beyond traditional boundaries.

We sincerely appreciate his visit and enthusiastic interaction with our students.
International academic exchanges like this play a vital role in nurturing the next generation of researchers.
