The ESL classroom has been converted back to a pottery studio, called EarthWorks. We offer ESL classes for kids and adults at Hearth Studio.

News from Hearth studio:
All art therapy study groups have closed for the time being. No plans to restart any time in the near future.

Saturday Art Club for Kids (SACK) is still going strong and will continue as usual on the 1st and 3rd Saturday afternoons.

Family Art Time will close down, after a very successful 4 years.

Our website will be closing down this year. If and when we create a new one, I’ll post about it here.

Special events will be created sporadically, the next one being sock puppet making on June 8th. Reservations necessary, I’ll post more about it in May.

Japanese dandelions are so cute, with slender stems and squarish petals.

The first few of many stages is going well: preparing the soil, planting seeds, and caring for the sprouts.
Next step is to transplant them into the ground. Volunteers welcome on May 4th and 5th for this gardening work. Contact cheryl to let her know when you can come.

Hearth had the great honor of hosting Dr. Girija Kaimal for a week while she worked on her Indigenous Art research project.
We also had some time to make traditional Japanese sweets in Tokyo and weaving in Yuuki-city, Ibaraki.
Girija also shared her Henna art with us!!
