でも実はそれと同じくらい大切な役割としてお願いしていることがあります。

それは、お子さまの「音楽的オブザーバー（観察者）」になること。

要は両方とも大事なんです！

お子様は今、どんな風にクラスを体験していますか？

じっと周りを観察していますか？

それとも体を動かし、楽器で遊んでいますか？

💡ここで、ぜひやってみてほしいことがあります！

お子さまの動きに気づいたら、パパやママもそれをそっくりそのまままねしてみてください！

これはお子様をサポートするだけでなく

わが子が今音楽を学び、成長するために

「どんな体験を必要としているのか」

を大人が深く理解し、ありのままを愛おしく感じる素晴らしいきっかけになるのです✨

In Music Together, having fun yourself is key, but it’s just as important to become “musical observers” of your children.

Both roles matter!

Are they observing?
How are they moving or playing with instruments?

TRY THIS: Once you see what your child is doing, copy them and do it, too!

This will not only support them, but it will also help you understand and appreciate how your child needs to learn and develop musically. ✨

実はわたし、わりと小さい頃から周りから浮いてしまうほうで….

友達作りがめっちゃ苦手でした！

だからもちろん「ママ友」たちとも甚大なプレッシャーと闘いながら

子どものためだし！
と自分に言い聞かせながら
付き合ったり付き合わなかったり。

もっと肩の力を抜けばよかったのにね😭

教室に通ってくださるママやパパたちを見てると
いいなー！って今さら謎の羨ましさを感じちゃったりしてます🤣

丸くなって歌うから自然に明るい声が飛び交う。

みんなで踊るからハートの鼓動もシンクロ。

終盤のジャムセッションではもう昔からの仲間ってかんじ！

音楽ってそもそもコミュニケーションツールとして生まれて発展してきたんだから、当然かもしれませんね🎵

I’ve always been the type to feel a little out of place growing up…

Making friends didn’t come easy for me.

So of course, even with “mom friends,” I found myself dealing with a lot of pressure—
telling myself, it’s for my child!
and sometimes trying, sometimes pulling back.

Looking back, I wish I could’ve just relaxed a little more.

Now when I see the moms and dads in my classes, I catch myself thinking,
“Wow, that looks so nice…” and feeling a bit envious in a funny way!

We sit in a circle, and bright voices naturally fill the room.

We move together, and even our heartbeats start to sync.

By the time we reach the jam session, it already feels like we’ve known each other forever.

Music began as a way for people to connect and communicate—
so maybe this is exactly how it’s meant to be 🎵

In a parent‑child class, children explore the world with a caregiver right beside them—a secure base that makes new experiences feel safe!

They can gradually move from a parent’s lap to playing nearby and eventually interacting with peers at their own pace.

Music Together offers a new song collection each semester, along with family materials that allow parents and children to enjoy the music at home.

This familiarity helps children feel grounded—“I know this music”—which eases anxiety in a new environment.

Moving to music and playing instruments also supports emotional regulation and builds confidence through small moments of “I did it.”

でも、音楽教育の視点から見ると

「子ども向けなら何でもOK」

というわけではありません。

キャッチーで楽しいけれど、似たようなメロディーやリズムが多く、乳幼児期の“吸収力の高さ”を考えるともったいないのです😭

In today’s world, children can access endless music on YouTube. It’s convenient, fun, and can even help busy parents.

But from a music education perspective, not all “kids’ songs” offer the same richness.

Many are catchy but rely on similar melodies and rhythms, which can limit a child’s musical experience during the most absorbent stage of development.

Music Together offers something different: songs rooted in diverse cultures, modes, rhythms, and genres, combined with original pieces and everyday English chants.

It’s like offering a colorful, nutritious musical meal instead of the same dish every day🥰

And because the songs are arranged in a child-friendly vocal range, parents and children can sing together naturally🩷
