6th AOCC Asia Oceania Camping Congress 2016　Tokyo

1 month has passed since then. How have you been?

We were very particular about our AOCC T-SHIRT and bag.
This cute and beautiful logo was designed by the mother of one of our NCAJ’s staff members. These T-shirts and bags are fair trade products, all handmade, and made from organic cotton.
We ordered a small company called SISAM to make these. We ordered 750 T-shirts and 550 bags, but it was the first time for SISAM to make so many products in one go. It must have been challenging for the producers who are in partnership with SISAM to cope with such a large order.
We kindly ask for your long and continued use of these.

SISAM has been trying to help empower producers by paying a fair price, giving advance credit and offering design, technical and capacity building advice.
We in the camping world, should be supporting and promoting fair trade where consumer and producer both benefit because we should be considering world peace and a wonderful future.

みなさま、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
AOCCのTシャツとバッグ、いまもお使いいただけているでしょうか？これらの大変なこだわりがあります。
Tシャツやバッグにあしらわれてたロゴは、NCAJのスタッフのお母様が、大会の成功を願ってデザインしてくれたものです。また、このTシャツやバッグは、フェアトレード製品で、すべて手作りでオーガニックコットン製です。これからも愛用していただけると嬉しいです。
私たちは”シサム工房”にこれらの製作を依頼しました。これだけたくさんのオーダーを一度に受けるのは初めてだということで、工房としてもよい機会であると、大変喜んでいただけました。
シサム工房は「買い物を通してできる社会貢献」の仕組みを作り出し、取り組んでいる会社です。
私たちは、キャンプを通して子どもたちの未来や世界を良くする仲間です。これからもこういった取り組みを応援していけたらと思います。

[Post-tour for Tokyo YWCA Camp NOJIRI Day 3]
We went sightseeing to Obuse town, which is famous for chesnut products. Mr. Omiya guided us around the town. We dropped in at "Kokuhei-miso", miso brewery shop, and "Matsubaya-honten", sake brewery. We tried tasting miso and drinking sake! At the restaurant "Kurabu 蔵部”, where we enjoyed traditional Japanise interior design, we ate "kuri-gohan", rice cooked with chesnuts, and local foods. Went to "Hokusai museum": Hokusai is a famous ukiyoe artist. We enjoyed his works in his old days. At last we parted, promising to meet again next year in Sochi.
　最終日は、栗で有名な小布施町を観光しました。野尻にも来たことのある大宮さんの案内で街めぐり、「穀平味噌醸造場」、「松葉屋本店」（蔵元）に立ち寄り、味噌の試食や日本酒の試飲もしました。お昼は、酒蔵を改装したレストラン「蔵部」で、竈で炊いた栗ごはんと地元の名産品を味わいました。葛飾北斎晩年の作品が展示してある
「北斎館」を見た後は自由散策。お土産をたくさんもって長野駅へ。来年ソチでの再会を誓って、さよならをしました。

[Post-tour for Tokyo YWCA camp NOJIRI Day 2]
Visited local new style compulsory school. Looked around school, saw how the students do class activities and had a try at school lunches.
And also visited nearby campsite "Labo Land", this campsite has high ropes course.
Next Tea Ceremony! Tasted macha and tried to practice how to prepare a bowl of tea as a host. Exciting!!
午前は地元の信濃町小中学校を訪問。1～9年の「義務教育学校」で小学5年生から教科担任制が始まります。見学をしてお昼は給食です。
午後はハイロープコースのある「ラボランドくろひめ」を見学。
そしてキャンプ場にもどると、お茶席が待っていました！初めてお抹茶を飲み、お手前の体験もしました。

Post-tour for Tokyo YWCA Camp NOJIRI -Day 1
Here we are in Camp NOJIRI !
Walked around the campsite, enjoyed delicious dinner, and talked about camp etc.
One of the members taught us very interesting game. Sometimes it cost us logical thinking.

とても面白いゲームを教えてもらったのですが、思考力が必要で大変…

Friends from Nigeria have stood at the foot of the Mt. Fuji.
And they enjoyed home party!

Night on the town! Shinjuku area.
About 30 people walked to the metropolitan government, enjoyed the scenery from lookout point, and had dinner at Izakaya.
Some of them went to Shibuya to see Halloween event.
新宿・都庁コースでは約30名様が参加しました。
オリンピックセンターから都庁まで歩き、展望台でイルミネーションを楽しみました。その後もつ鍋の居酒屋へ九州の先生方がご案内！
そのままハロウィンの世界、渋谷スクランブル交差点へ…
