Spring 2023 Cohort - that's a wrap! 🎬

After successfully completing the JVA Product Expo with 50+ guests, the fellows had one last session on the agenda: The Graduation!
Our 9 fellows started off the session by sharing 360° Feedback with team members and after receiving their graduation certificates (congrats to all fellows!) , we spend the rest of the evening hanging out over burritos and drinks 🌯

While it's sad to say goodbye to the Spring '23 Cohort, we are super excited for the next cohort of fellows to start in October 👋

Finished week 9 with Schyler Cole at Incubate Fund! ❤️‍🔥
After last week's lecture on picking the business model, we now look at different ways to pitch your solution!

The teams did customer journey exercises that focused on the users, their touch points with the product, and emotions throughout the journey - and most importantly, how to make the product story easy to understand for the audience.

Over the last 3 months, our Spring 2023 Cohort has been busy building and refining their products. After validating the problem, building a prototype and identifying the business model, they are soon ready to present their progress to the world.

Join us on June 14th (Wed) at Google for Startups Campus Tokyo (5F) from 7.15pm to explore what the fellows achieved in the last 3 months!
We are joined by Koshu (Partner Time Ventures) and Kenneth (Senior Program Manager Creative Lab) who help provide feedback to the fellows.

Why and how should founders in Japan think about having a global mindset?
That's the topic we discussed with our panelists Alex, Haruka, Natsumi and Yoshiro last week. Afterwards, startup enthusiasts from university and industry got together with the panelists to exchange ideas in a world cafe format. I was really nice to get the VC, founder, government and students perspective on this topic!
