Sendai Aoba Matsuri is of the biggest festivals in Sendai City. Several citizen groups perform Suzume Odori (Sparrow Dance) in streets and on stage. It is held to represent the exceptionally sophisticated aesthetics inherited from the DATE clan.

This year, I enjoyed the matsuri on my own and cheered for a senpai who's a part of one of the dance groups!~

I am not very familiar with Baseball Games, but Baseball is quite big in Japan. So I wanted to learn more about it. I decided to join some senpais in watching the Fan's match last August 26th.

It was definitely different from watching a basketball match, but it is something I know I would definitely enjoy watching every now and then. I enjoyed the Takoyaki and Potatoes we ate. The takoyaki here is definitely so much more delicious than the ones I had back at home.

See you again in September, Rakuten! Let's win all the matches once more!

Tanabata Festival is celebrated to commemorate the romantic story of two lovers who are only allowed to meet each other once a year as long as the skies are clear. That's why people hope for clear skies during Tanabata so lovers can be reunited.

The most famous Tanabata is celebrated in Sendai every August 7th in accordance with the older Chinese calendar, which is where the legend originated. (JapanSuite)
