Thanks to everyone for your continued support to this great association. Many thanks to all who found time to attend the 2018 AGM. It was a success. To the outgoing executives, we can not thank you enough. You were truly amazing! Bravo!!! To the incoming executives, greater support from everyone also is solicited. Hullo family!!! It's been weeks now after the announcement of HUASA's Annual General Meeting (aka AGM) and general election into the executive offices of the association. Here is a kind reminder that the event holds on 29th August - 2 days away building by 5pm prompt. Please be reminded by this, and spread the message to old and new African Student's in Hokkaido University.

ELECTIONS FOR HUASA EXECUTIVE POSITIONS (29th of august)

The 2017/2018 HUASA executive committee mandate has come to an end!!!

Elections for executive positions will be held on 29th of august 2018.

Those who are interested and eligible to run for an executive position for the next mandate (2018/2019) are welcome and have to have into account the following:

- Only registered HUASA members, who have been registered at Hokkaido University for 1 year or more and active in HUASA activities are eligible to run for a position, EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE THERE ARE NO ELIGIBLE PERSONS FOR SUCH A POST.

- Each member of the exco SHALL BE A NATIONAL OF A DIFFERENT COUNTRY IN AFRICA, except where there are no eligible persons for a post that may warrant otherwise.

- An exco member may SERVE FOR ONLY 2 TENURES DURING HIS STUDENTSHIP IN HOKKAIDO UNIVERSITY, except where there are no eligible persons for such posts that may warrant otherwise.

The above conditions are as stated in the HUASA constitution.
