合気技法を伝える氣慎塾のロンドン支部を率いるSalur Onural 先生が師匠の小嶋 誠先生のご指導を受ける為に来日され、太氣拳の個人指導も受けてくださいました。

個々の技法というよりも、今後の進化の土台になりうる練功法をお伝えしました。

稽古後にサイゼでお茶しました。

このところ睡眠不足続いていた私は、最後の最後で油断してやつれた顔をになってます💦

それはさておき、貴重な武縁に感謝です。

The great master of Taiki-ken, Jan Kallenbach Sensei (hereinafter
Jan Sensei) has passed away on April 14, 2021.
Yan Sensei started to practice Judo in Netherland, which was his first experience of martial art.
He made the promotion of the first grade of Black belt (Sho-dan) together with William Ruska who won the Gold Medal in the Olympic game held in Munchen.
In 1967 Jan Sensei visited Japan to practice martial arts such as Judo, Karate (Kyokushin-style), and so on, and met with SAWAI Ken-ichi Sensei, the founder of Taki-ken.
Jan Sensei obtained the title of Kyoshi (教士) and the Grade of Seventh Dan (七段) from Sawai Sensei.
After going back to Netherland, he dedicated himself to promote Taiki-ken in Europe.

I extend my heartfelt condolence to the Great Master of Martial Art, Sensei Jan Kallenbach.

Since the beginning of November, I have been supporting Mark san as a tentative student during his training trip to Japan.

After the Keiko (稽古) in the evening, we had Chanko-nabe (ちゃんこ鍋) for the dinner.

During the dinner, we talked much about the self-cultivation through Keiko and Shugyo (修行) of Budo (武道).

It is just like the Samadhi or Samdi of Yoga. The concept of Samadhi is imported to Japanese as Sanmai or Zanmai (三昧) via Zen of Buddhism.

According to Famous Zen priest Ohmori Sogen Sensei, Sanmai (三昧) is the state in which we can perceive the thing as it is without any bias (正受), and on the other hand, we are not influenced by it (不受).
In my impression, it is very similar to the status I as a martial artist can experience when I move naturally under the pressure by facing to the strong opponent.

KARATE BUSHIDO magazine has carried a story of visiting Japan as a mother country of Taiki-ken.

The article is consisted of the interview of Iwama Sensei and Shimamura.

Two practitioners of Taiki-ken in France visited the world heritage of Nikko in Tochigi prefecture to join training camp of Shobu-kan.

Please be informed that three Japanese teachers of Taiki-Ken (Iwama Sensei, Ito Sensei, and Shimamura) are invited to the seminar of Taiki-Ken will be held in Carcassonne in South France on May 12 and 13, 2018.

We at Taiki Ken Shobu-kan have two Taiki Ken practitioner from France as guests now. They joined our Gasshuku (Training camp) and regular Keiko (lesson of Budo) with us.

Our Gasshuku is held in Nikko city in Tochigi prefecture, where is located 100Km to the north of Tokyo.

During their stay in Japan, we would visit cultural or historical place of Budo such as Shrine of Karoti and Kashima where Gods of Budo are enshrined.

If you want to visit Japan to learn Taiki Ken, we can receive you in regular Keiko and offer you Intensive Training Course according to your schedule and needs.

Taiki-Ken Shobu-kan is planning Intensive Seminar and Gasshuku (Training Camp) in Nikko (Tochigi, Japan) on June 25 and 26, 2016.
We organize the Intensive Seminar of Taiki Ken before and after Gasshuku as shown below.


1) Level-1: June 21 to 26 (including Nikko Gasshuku)
*25 hours of practice during 5 days
2) Level-2: June 28 to July 4
*18 hours of practice
*Visiting the grave of Sawai Sensei (Founder of Taiki Ken)
*Visiting cultural places for Budo practitioners

How about joining the intensive seminar and gasshuku held in Japan, the birthplace of Taiki Ken.

Sensei Shimamura teaches Taiki Ken based on the knowledge of functional anatomy using pedagogy.

Tochigi prefecture, the venue of this seminar is a nice place. It locates about 100 km to the north of Tokyo (within 2 hours by train).
