Desmond Koelmeyer – ඒ සියල්ල පිටුපස සිටි දූරදර්ශී මොළකරු!!!
“Echoes of Excellence” පාසල් ඉතිහාස ග්රන්ථය පිළිබඳව විශිෂ්ටතම අගයවීමක් දැක්විය යුතු පුද්ගලයා නම්, එය නිරුපණය විය හැක්කේ Desmond Koelmeyer අයියායි. මේ කෘතිය පිටු සලස්වා ගැනීමට, එයට නිර්දේශ කළ කණ්ඩායම තෝරා ගැනීමටත්, සෑම අදියරකම නිරන්තරයෙන් මඟ පෙන්වීමටත් ඔහු විසින් දැරූ කැපවීම විශාලයි. දශක ගණනක් පාසලෙන් බැහැරව ගියද, විදුහලට ඇති ඒ අගනා ආදරය ඔහුගේ කර්තව්යශීලීත්වය තුළින් පැහැදිලිව පෙනේ.
Desmond අයියා තම වටිනා කාලය වෙන්කර, නිහතමානීව මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය අරඹා, එය සාර්ථකත්වයට පත් කිරීම සදහා අප සැමට නායකත්වය ලබාදී ඇත. එමඟින් අප සැමටත් අත්දැකීම්වලින් පිරුණු අතිවිශිෂ්ට ගමනක් ලබා දුන්නෙකි. ඔහුට සුභපැතුම් පමණක් නොව, අපගේ ගෞරවයද හිමි විය යුතුය!
Desmond Koelmeyer – The Visionary Behind It All !!!
The man who dreamed, envisioned, and led the creation of the college history book “Echoes of Excellence”. Desmond Koelmeyer was the true force behind this landmark project. It was his idea, his team, his guidance, and most of all, his unwavering dedication that brought this masterpiece to life.
Though decades have passed since he walked out of the college gates, his love for his alma mater burns ever bright. He handpicked and mentored the editorial team, investing a tremendous amount of time, energy, and care throughout the entire process.
A true Antonian, Desmond is an accomplished educationist with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hon), a Master of Science (UK), and is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA, UK) and CPA Australia (FCPA).
A leader on and off the field, he captained the college First XI Cricket Team in 1978-79, was a public schools athletics champion in 1978, and earned university colours. Today, he continues to inspire with his rare blend of academic excellence, sporting achievement, and global leadership experience.
Desmond Ayya, your legacy will echo through generations of Antonians. Thank you for everything!!!
