🚨WARNING TO TEACHERS LOOKING FOR JOBS IN JAPAN

There is a Facebook account that has been advertising teaching jobs in Japan and promising employment opportunities to teachers from the Philippines. Do not engage. Report, block, and share the information that this is not a legitimate hiring agency.

Prospect applicants were asked to:

📌 Send their resumes and personal information
📌 Pay a certain amount supposedly for "training or processing"
📌 Make the payment through a "convenience store payment method"
📌 Expect a job placement in Japan after completing the process

However, some individuals have reported that after making the payment, they were blocked by the account.

What is also concerning is that this Facebook account has been around for some time and appears to CHANGE ITS NAME PERIODICALLY. It also has a significant number of followers, which may make it appear legitimate. However, the photos being used appear to have been sourced from other pages.

A large following, professional-looking posts, photos of Japan, or promises of job placement DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN that an account or recruitment offer is LEGITIMATE.

If you are applying for a teaching job in Japan—or anywhere overseas—please take time to verify:

• Is the organization legally registered?
• Does it have a verifiable website and official contact information?
• Can you independently confirm the schools or employers they claim to work with?
• Are you being asked to pay money in exchange for training, processing, or a promised job?
• What happens if the promised employment does not materialize?
• Are the photos, testimonials, and job postings actually their own?

We are sharing this as a WARNING and a REMINDER TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION, especially for teachers who may be eager to find opportunities to work in Japan.

If you have had an experience with a similar account or recruitment scheme, please document what happened and report it through the appropriate channels. Do not send money simply because an account has many followers or appears established.

Please share this information. Someone looking for a job may need to see it before sending their hard-earned money.
