Let’s make children love English together! Starting in April 2022, you can be a start of something amazing as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Hamada city in Shimane, Mihara city in Hiroshima, Tosa city in Kochi and Tenkawa village in Nara prefecture in JP!
About the position:
The placement will be at elementary schools and junior high schools where the ALT will assist as a team teacher and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by GLAD and the Board of Education. As well as teaching English lessons, you may also be asked to participate in other school activities such as clubs, cleaning the school, and cultural festivals. You will be teaching with Japanese teachers so being flexible with them is crucial.
Contract term:
April 1st, 2022 - March 31st, 2023
Benefits
・Days off include weekends, national holidays, and other holidays(winter and spring) set on the Board of Education's school calendar
・Rental car provided
・Ongoing and continuous support (training and advice)
Conditions
・Monthly base compensation: From ¥230,000 per month (It will be decided after the interview)
・Working hours: Monday through Friday
-Elementary school, and Junior high school: normally 8:30 am-4:50 pm (subject to change depending on the placement)

Qualifications

Kumamoto is a prefecture of Japan located on the west coast of Kyusyu. The city is small and friendly, with a casual atmosphere. You can enjoy the scenic view and sweet mikans (Japanese clementines) all year round!
About Nara
Nara is one of the prefectures in Kinki area. It takes less than 2hours to go to Osaka. You can see beautiful and colorful Japanese 4types of seasons there.
