Job Description:
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with observed standard practices.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted users.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Create, change and delete user accounts per request. (Network services)
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Install, deploy and configure software and application.
- Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
- Preparation and updating of needed reports and data.
- Create/Suggest new system or improve existing system being used in business operation
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Must be experienced in diagnosing failures with Software/Hardware, repair, configuration and set up
- Must have experience in network problem management, routers, switches and firewalls
- Must know basic programming (Visual Basic, etc..)
- Experience with CCTV Technologies and Installation is a plus
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Must be goal oriented and have a "must do" and "can do" attitude
- Must be willing to learn and share his/her knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Must be willing to work on weekends.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule
