Kiitos Koulu 2026 Summer
【7/21〜7/24・8/3〜8/28】
This summer, Kiitos Koulu, our program for elementary school students who graduated from Kiitos Garden, has begun once again. The word Koulu means “school” in Finnish.
The activity for the day was one of the children’s all-time favorites... cooking! They made shirasu pizzas using gyoza wrappers.
The children sliced the onions with a slicer and carefully cut the green peppers into small pieces with a kitchen knife. They spread ketchup on the gyoza wrappers, added the onions and green peppers, and then topped them with cheese and shirasu before cooking them on a hot plate.
Some of the children were using a kitchen knife for the first time. It was impressive to see them carefully cutting the vegetables while keeping their other hand safely curled into a “cat’s paw.”
As the pizzas cooked, the classroom filled with a delicious aroma!
The pizzas they had made themselves seemed to taste especially good, and everyone finished every bite with big smiles, saying,
“Delicious!!!”
キートスコウル 2026 夏
【7/21〜7/24・8/3〜8/28】
今年の夏も、キートスガーデンを卒園した小学生を対象にした「キートスコウル」が始まりました。“コウル”とはフィンランド語で“学校”の意味があります。
この日のカリキュラムは、毎回大人気のクッキング！
餃子の皮でしらすピザを作りました。
玉ねぎはスライサーで、ピーマンは包丁で小さく切り、ケチャップをぬった餃子の皮の上に乗せ、さらにチーズとしらすを乗せてホットプレートで焼きます。
初めて包丁を使う子もおり、片手を猫の手にして慎重に切る姿が印象的でした。
焼き上がると教室中がいい匂い！
自分で作ったピザは格別だったようで、みんな
「おいしい！！！」
とニコニコで完食しました。
