The other day, our students gave presentations about "My Favorite Things" in class. Although they were a little nervous at first, they did a wonderful job sharing a lot about themselves! ✨

みなさん、こんにちは！ SACHI International School です。

先日、日本に来た 技能実習生（ぎのうじっしゅうせい）に 会いに、中部国際空港（セントレア）へ 行きました。✈️

空港の ロビーで、私たちが 看板（かんばん）を 持って 待って いました。 実習生の みなさんは、私たちを 見つけて、近くに 来てくれました。

そして、「先生、お願いします」と あいさつをして くれました。 私たちは、その あいさつを 聞いて、とても うれしかったです。 これから 一緒に 勉強することを 楽しみに 思いました。

実習生の みなさんは、1か月後に 会社で 仕事を 始めます。

SACHIでの 1か月間は、日本語だけを 勉強するのでは ありません。 日本の 生活の ルールや、電車の 乗り方、ゴミの 捨て方なども 勉強します。 日本で 安心して 働くために、大切なこと（生活習慣）を 教えます。

私たちは、日本語を 教えるだけでは ありません。 実習生の みなさんが、日本で 自分で 生活できるように、助けます。 これが、SACHIの 大切な 教育です。

Hello everyone! This is SACHI International School.

Recently, we visited Chubu Centrair International Airport to welcome a new group of Technical Intern Trainees to Japan! ✈️✨

While our staff was waiting in the arrivals lobby holding a sign, the trainees found us and approached us on their own. They greeted us politely, saying, "Teacher, please look after us" (Sensei, onegaishimasu). Hearing those sincere words made us feel a warm sense of responsibility and joy to support their new journey in Japan.

In one month, these trainees will begin their new jobs.

The one month they spend at SACHI is not just for learning the Japanese language. We provide comprehensive guidance on daily life habits and social rules—such as trash disposal, local regulations, and how to use public transportation—so they can work confidently and safely in Japanese society.

Our role at SACHI International School is not merely to teach language, but to act as the "first bridge" that helps them become self-reliant and integrate into the local community. This is the core of our educational philosophy.

To all our new trainees, welcome to Japan!
Let's learn and grow together over the next month!

SACHI International Schoolの　クラスを　紹介[しょうかい]します！ みんなで「仕事[しごと]で　使[つか]う　ことば」を　勉強[べんきょう]しました。
「もつ」「はこぶ」「わたす」… ことばの　意味[いみ]が　わかるように、みんなで　動[うご]きを　考[かんが]えて、ビデオを　とりました📹
学生たちは、 「その　動きは　わかりにくいですよ！」 「本物[ほんもの]を　使ったほうが　いいですよ！」 と、たくさん　意見[いけん]を　出［だ］しました。
自分[じぶん]で　考えて　練習[れんしゅう]した　ことばは、仕事[しごと]に　行[い]ったとき、自信[じしん]に　なります。 みんなの　アイデアが　つまった　ビデオを、ぜひ　見[み]てください！

"How can we communicate better?" —— Student-Centered Learning in Action!✨
Lively voices fill the classrooms at SACHI International School! Recently, our students focused on "Workplace Vocabulary" as part of their post-arrival training.
To truly master verbs like "hold," "carry," and "pass," students brainstormed their own gestures and filmed demonstration videos📹.
What made this lesson special was the active discussion among the students. They shared ideas like, "That gesture isn't clear enough!" or "Using real objects would make it much easier to understand!"
At SACHI, we prioritize a student-led approach where learners think for themselves rather than just receiving information. The "living words" they've mastered through trial and error will surely become a source of confidence when they step into their professional roles.
