Just two more sleeps til Tokyo and we'll be setting up our exhibition For School at TDW 2015
The exhibition is curated by Bree Claffey of Mr Kitly and I together and includes work by designer makers Anna Varendorff : Ben Blakebrough : Bridget Bodenham : Daniel Enma : Dear Plastic : Elbow Workshop : Field Experiments : Groupwork : Studio Henry Wilson : StudioKyss : Many Many : Miso and Supercyclers
Themed around items for use at school, the works are being made to limited order for the Japanese retail market...
Emphasis has been placed on carefully crafted, handmade works, mindful of environmental impact. Items are made to order in a shift away from creating objects en masse and towards fulfilling needs as they arise.
A percentage of all the For School sales will go to the Malala Fund for the education of girls in places where this is difficult or denied.
