Hello everyone!! Happy (almost) Halloween!

Last Friday, Sunnyside friends had our annual Halloween parade! We went around Jiyugaoka in our costumes and stopped by different shops to do trick or treating! Thank you to our neighbors for being so kind to Sunnyside friends! We also had a game of piñata with everyone to wrap up our Halloween party day!

Hello everyone! Today is the last day of September! We hope you made a lot of memories this month! :)

Last week, we had our sports day! We showcased our physical skills and teamwork this day! Congratulations to the Yellow Ninjas who won the gold medal! Everyone did so well in all of the games. Our parents were a big part of our event and we want to express our gratitude to them for being so enthusiastic to participate!

Today, our big friends visited a farm to sow radish seeds!

Hello everyone and Hello September!

It has been so long since we had normal classes and it was so refreshing to be back in our classrooms! We were together all summer long but we still missed each other! Many new friends joined Sunnyside this month and we are so excited to get to know them better. :)

Hi everyone! Did you all have a nice 3-day weekend? 🌻

The previous week was last our normal week before we wrap up our term! ❤️ We had lots of fun activities including a birthday party, PE class and shopping for snacks.

It is getting hotter each day, please stay hydrated! 💧

At Sunnyside, we include Japanese cultural activities in our yearly schedule for appreciation and understanding of our home country.

Last Friday, we celebrated Tanabata earlier because July 7th fell on Sunday.

We had lots of fun listening to the storytelling of our teachers, making our Hikoboshi and Orihime craft, writing our wishes on the wishing strips and playing a Tanabata-inspired game.

Santa came very early to drop off gifts to Sunnyside friends!

We even showed Santa the songs we performed on our winter show! He said we are very good singers and dancers!
