8月3日から5日まで、富士山登山ツアーを実施しました！

2年ぶりの開催となった今回のツアー。天候にも恵まれ、無事に登頂することができました。そして、山頂からは最高のご来光を拝むことができました🌅✨

参加した皆さんにとって、今回の富士山登山が、日本留学中の忘れられない思い出の一つになってくれれば嬉しいです。

参加してくださった皆さん、本当にお疲れ様でした！
素敵な思い出になりましたね😊

🗻【Mt. Fuji Climbing Tour】🌅

From August 3 to 5, we held our Mt. Fuji climbing tour!

This was our first Mt. Fuji tour in two years, and we were very lucky to have beautiful weather throughout the trip. We successfully reached the summit and were able to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji. 🌅✨

We hope this experience will become one of the unforgettable memories of your time studying in Japan.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and congratulations on your achievement! You all did an amazing job! 👏😊

今日の午後、イオンモールでフィールドワークを行いました。

目標は、「店員さんや友達とやり取りをしながら、買うかどうかを決めることができること」、そして「自分が買いたいものを決めること」でした。

果たして、みんなその目標は達成できたのでしょうか？

店員さんに質問をしたり、友達と相談したりしながら、買い物している場面がたくさんあり、一人ひとりにとって実りあるフィールドワークとなりました。

今回の経験を、これからの生活の中での買い物にも生かしてくれることを期待しています。

This afternoon, we had a fieldwork activity at AEON Mall.

Our goals were for the students to communicate with store staff and their friends while deciding whether or not to buy something, and to choose an item they wanted to purchase on their own.

So, were they able to achieve these goals?

Throughout the activity, we saw many students asking questions to store staff, discussing their choices with friends, and thinking carefully before making their purchases. Even when they hesitated, they took the time to make decisions they were happy with, making the experience both meaningful and rewarding.

We hope they will apply what they learned today to their future shopping experiences and everyday lives.

【教室を飛び出して、祇園祭で学ぶ】🎐

日本語センターの学生たちは、日本の伝統文化を実際に体験するため、祇園祭でフィールドワークを行いました。

今回の課題は、お店の方へのインタビュー。
学生たちは勇気を出して日本語で質問し、お店の方々も温かく応えてくださいました。

教室で学んだ日本語を実際に使い、地域の人と交流することで、言葉だけではなく、日本の文化や人とのつながりも学ぶことができます。

ご協力いただいた皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

これからも、日本語センターは「教室の外で学ぶ」機会を大切にしながら、学生たちの成長を応援していきます。

【Learning Beyond the Classroom at the Gion Festival】🎐

Our students at the Japanese Language Center stepped outside the classroom to experience one of Japan's most famous traditional festivals—the Gion Festival.

As part of their fieldwork, they interviewed local shop owners in Japanese. It took courage to start conversations, and we truly appreciate the kindness and support shown by everyone who welcomed our students.

Using Japanese in real-life situations helps students build confidence while gaining a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and the local community.

A big thank you to all the shop owners who generously shared their time with us!

We will continue creating opportunities for our students to learn through real experiences beyond the classroom.

本校の学生たちも、祇園祭フィールドワークのため教室を飛び出し、それぞれのタスクに取り組みました。実際に見て、聞いて、感じることで、日本文化への理解を深める貴重な学びの機会となりました。
暑さの厳しい一日でしたが、最後まで頑張った学生の皆さん、本当にお疲れ様でした！

Experiencing Kyoto's Gion Festival – Learning Beyond the Classroom
Despite the intense 37°C heat, Kyoto's famous Gion Festival Yamaboko Procession took place today.
Our students stepped out of the classroom to take part in a Gion Festival fieldwork activity, completing various tasks while experiencing one of Japan's most iconic traditional festivals firsthand. Through observing the magnificent floats, listening to the festival music, and interacting with local people, they gained a deeper appreciation of Japanese culture and traditions.
Although it was an extremely hot day, our students showed great enthusiasm and worked hard throughout the activity. We are proud of their efforts and hope this memorable experience will become one of the highlights of their time in Japan.

猛暑の中、学生たちは祇園祭に繰り出し、日本の方々にインタビューをするというプロジェクトを無事にやり遂げました。慣れない環境の中でも積極的にコミュニケーションを取り、一人ひとりが大きく成長した一日となりました。

Despite the intense summer heat, the students successfully completed their project of going to the Gion Festival and interviewing Japanese people. Even in an unfamiliar environment, they communicated with confidence and enthusiasm, making it a day of meaningful learning and personal growth for everyone.

【祇園祭 宵山を楽しみました！】

昨日、学校のスタッフと有志の学生で、祇園祭の宵山へ行ってきました。

午後6時から歩行者天国になった四条通や烏丸周辺を歩き、華やかに飾られた山鉾や提灯の灯り、祇園囃子の音色を楽しみながら、日本の夏を代表する伝統文化を体感しました。

学生たちは、屋台で食べ物を買ったり、写真を撮ったり、お互いの国の祭りと比べたりしながら、笑顔あふれる時間を過ごしていました。教室では学ぶことのできない「生きた日本文化」に触れることができ、とても貴重な経験になったようです。

これからも、日本語だけでなく、日本の文化や季節の行事を楽しみながら学べる機会を大切にしていきます。

🎐 Enjoying Yoiyama at the Gion Festival! 🎐

Yesterday, our staff and a group of volunteer students visited Yoiyama, one of the most exciting evenings of Kyoto's famous Gion Festival.

From 6:00 p.m., the streets around Shijo and Karasuma became a pedestrian paradise, allowing us to stroll through the festival while admiring the beautifully decorated floats, the glowing lanterns, and listening to the enchanting sounds of the traditional Gion Festival music. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Japan's most iconic summer traditions.

Our students enjoyed trying delicious festival food, taking lots of photos, and sharing stories about festivals in their own countries. Experiencing this vibrant cultural event firsthand gave them a deeper understanding of Japan that simply cannot be learned in the classroom.

At our school, we believe that learning Japanese goes hand in hand with experiencing Japanese culture. We will continue to create opportunities for our students to discover Japan through its traditions, seasonal events, and local communities.

とてもいい天気でハイキング日和でした!

Our first event for the April 2026 term was a field trip to Hoshida Enchi!
The weather was absolutely perfect for hiking. It was a wonderful day where students got to mingle across different classes, and even the teachers and students had a great time bonding together!
