Today, EirFoyl was featured in De Telegraaf, the largest newspaper in the Netherlands.
The article tells the story behind why this tour has suddenly become about much more than music. While we are on the road in Europe, another devastating earthquake has struck Kumamoto, Japan, where our families, friends and community live. For many people there, this has reopened wounds that never fully healed after the 2016 earthquakes.
Because of that, we have decided that for the rest of this tour, every cent of profit from our CD sales will go directly to people we personally know in the affected area. No middlemen, no organisations. Just direct help for people who urgently need clean drinking water, cooling, and other basic necessities.
If you’re coming to one of our shows, buying a CD is one of the most direct ways you can help. Even if you can’t make it to a concert, simply sharing this message would mean a lot.
Or donate through our GoFundMe campaign.
Thank you to everyone who has already reached out, donated, shared our story or kept Kumamoto in your thoughts. We won’t forget it.
