This year, please remember to balance your work and life. Take time to smell the roses, or in my case, photograph some birds.
I plan to focus more on some of my hobbies and interests this year. I have certainly neglected them in the past couple of years. As I reengage with my interests, I may share some moments with my LinkedIn community from time to time.
Here's my first offering. I photographed this lovely creature, a Redstart, during one of my early morning walks, which my wife may or may not have insisted on. After that walk, I felt energized, thankful to have experienced nature, and eager to tackle the rest of my day.
Please be consistent with whatever you do to bring balance to yourself throughout the year. Also, listen to the people closest to you when they offer you advice. They have a perspective we don't, and we should pay close attention to their advice.
Please feel free to share with me how you spend time balancing yourself after a long day or week at the office.
I look forward to hearing from you.
👋🏽 I received an extremely generous review from a client and I decided to make it into a video. Please have a look 👇🏽
If you are a business professional or executive and are looking to level up your English communication skills, let's have a chat.
As you know, to be effective in your demanding role, you always have to be prepared to navigate challenging interactions with your English-speaking colleagues.
These interactions may be face-to-face, over the phone, or via email. Some interactions may be casual. However, I suspect the vast majority of them will be more formal in nature and will occur under stressful, time-sensitive conditions.
As such, you know the value of communicating clearly, confidently, timely, and concisely. Above all, you understand the importance of getting things right the first time.
At some point, we have all observed how miscommunication can lead to the loss of time, productivity, and even the loss of confidence from management and peers.
This year, don't lose precious time stressing about the best ways to interact with your English-speaking colleagues. Let me help you get it right... the FIRST time!
Message me about my 10-Week Business English Accelerator program to begin exploring your options for taking control of your situation and improving your English communication skills in 2023.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Record Yourself When You Practice At Home
If you want to improve faster, practice out loud and record yourself.
Some clients have no idea what they sound like when they speak English. This makes it more challenging to improve your speaking.
Use your smartphone and record yourself speaking, at least once a week.
You will hear the difference over time!
