This year, please remember to balance your work and life. Take time to smell the roses, or in my case, photograph some birds.⁣
⁣
I plan to focus more on some of my hobbies and interests this year. I have certainly neglected them in the past couple of years. As I reengage with my interests, I may share some moments with my LinkedIn community from time to time.⁣
⁣
Here's my first offering. I photographed this lovely creature, a Redstart, during one of my early morning walks, which my wife may or may not have insisted on. After that walk, I felt energized, thankful to have experienced nature, and eager to tackle the rest of my day.⁣
⁣
Please be consistent with whatever you do to bring balance to yourself throughout the year. Also, listen to the people closest to you when they offer you advice. They have a perspective we don't, and we should pay close attention to their advice.⁣
⁣
