Update: some are saying the main typhoon has passed. Still please be careful. Areas between Nagoya and Tokyo are still getting hit by heavy rain, more rain than was expected... many local trains are delayed and many are suspended for the day including the bullet train from Nagoya to Tokyo... A number of subways are underwater so check local info before heading out... This is the latest info as of 8:30pm (jt)

In Japan? Info for you about the Typhoon... Its coming... Shinkansen trains have been suspended from Nagoya to Tokyo and from Hiroshima to Hakata... Southern Japan is getting hit very hard right now so stay in doors ... Osaka is clear right now with winds gushing but still safe to move around right now.. Heavy wind and rain warnings are out... Tokyo is light rain right now but expecting heavy rains soon... Be safe out there...
