Daniel is your 2025-26 CAJ Male Athlete of the Year! He was the most valuable player of the boys’ volleyball and track and field teams, and he was also a League All-Star in both sports and was a volleyball Yujo All-Star and Far East Track and Field All-Star and individual champion (triple jump).

Sakurako is your 2025-26 CAJ Female Athlete of the Year! She was an instrumental part of the varsity volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams.

Here are her accomplishments from this year:
Volleyball- team MVP, Kanto League All-Star, Yujo MVP, Far East All-Star, and team was Division II Far East champs
Basketball- team was Division II Far East champs
Soccer- team MVP, Far East All-Star

The MS girls’ basketball A Team finished its season with the top-6 Kanto Finals today, placing 4th despite being seeded 6th!

CAJ played into the semifinals with a 20-18 win against KIST before dropping its next two games to ASIJ (39-19) and Seisen (30-12).

At home today, the MS girls’ basketball teams faced off against ISSH for three games. A Team lost 43-13 and B Team lost 37-19, but C Team won 14-7.

C Team ended the season with an undefeated record!

The varsity girls’ soccer team unfortunately fell short in its Division II Far East championship game against Zama, losing 1-0.

The second-place Knights still have an excellent record of 9-4-5 this season and will play one final game against Seisen next week Friday at home.

The varsity boys’ soccer team is the Division I Far East Champion!!! The Knights won an intense battle against Kadena in penalty kicks after tying 2-2 in regulation.

CAJ started attending the large schools tournament again last year after a long stretch of attending the small schools tournament This is the Knights’ 11th Far East Soccer Championship overall, and their fifth Division I championship.
