The Western Mindanao State University – College of Science and Mathematics (CSM), Department of Chemistry (DOC) proudly congratulates 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗦. 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗼, DOC Chair, on earning her Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry degree during the 56th Commencement Exercises of the Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology.
Dr. Lacandalo’s dissertation entitled "𝘐𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘌𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘌𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘢, 𝘎𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘩𝘭𝘰𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘡𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺”, was awarded BEST GRADUATE DISSERTATION for the PhD Chemistry program. Beyond her academic achievements, Dr. Lacandalo is a devoted wife, a loving mother of four, a committed educator and a budding entrepreneur who successfully balanced her many roles while completing the final stages of her doctoral journey. Her perseverance, resilience, and pursuit of excellence are truly inspiring and serve as a testament to what dedication and determination can accomplish.
