【ウェールズから福島へ！Dr. Taofeekat Ali をお迎えしています】
現在、ウェールズからお越しいただいたDr. Taofeekat Ali（タオフィカット・アリ先生）が、福島県内各地を見学に訪れています。
スタート地点となった福島県立医科大学では、2日間にわたり濃密な時間を過ごされました。
三次救急を担う総合内科での診療見学では、日本の医療現場を熱心に観察。さらに、「From Nigeria to Wales（ナイジェリアからウェールズへ）」と題した講演会では、ご自身のキャリアの歩みや、感染症対策とプライマリ・ケアの統合について貴重なお話を伺うことができました。
異なる背景を持つ医師同士が対話し、知見を共有することは、私たちの医療の質を高める大きな刺激になります。アリ先生は5月末まで福島に滞在し、各地を巡る予定です。もしどこかでお会いすることがあれば、ぜひ温かく迎えていただければ幸いです！
【Bridging Wales and Fukushima: Welcoming Dr. Taofeekat Ali】
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Taofeekat Ali, visiting us all the way from Wales! Dr. Ali will be exploring various medical sites across Fukushima Prefecture until the end of May.
Her journey began with a productive two-day visit to Fukushima Medical University (FMU). During her stay, she observed clinical practices at our Department of General Internal Medicine, a leading tertiary care center.
A highlight of her visit was her inspiring lecture, "From Nigeria to Wales: Integrating Infectious Disease Control and Primary Care." Sharing her unique career path and professional insights provided a wonderful learning opportunity for our faculty and students alike.
International exchanges like this are vital for broadening our perspectives and enhancing the quality of healthcare globally. We look forward to her continued stay in Fukushima!
