今日はこのホリデーの由来や歴史について学び、みんなで「ありがとう」をシェアしました。

Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in America and Canada that takes place in the fall to celebrate the harvest, sharing. In America, it’s commonly celebrated by cooking a big feast, and spending the day with your family, and by watching football. 🏈 It’s also a day to show thanks and appreciation for the good things in your life. Today we learned about the holiday, history, and shared what we’re thankful for. We are thankful for our fantastic students and families of ELK English.

ELK English人形町のサマースクール2日目も大成功！
今日は英検対策を中心に、ゲームも取り入れて楽しく学びました！

英語の練習だけでなく、勉強のコツやテストの受け方、そしてちょっとした人生アドバイスまで！？
でもご安心を…真面目なだけじゃありません！
みんなが笑顔になるサプライズアクティビティもありましたよ♪

みなさん、よく頑張りました！
明日はいよいよ3日目「スライム・センサリー・ラボ」！
五感について学びながら、いろんな種類のスライムを手作りします🖐️！
今回のサマースクール前半はこれでラストです！

来週は、さらに楽しいプロジェクト型アクティビティや、別の英検ワークショップも開催予定！
個人的には…冷房の効いた教室で過ごす夏、最高です☺️

Summer school day 2 at ELK English Ningyocho was a successful day of EIKEN test prep and fun games!
In addition to practicing english, we also discussed study skills, test taking skills, gave life advice. But it wasn’t all serious, we had a few fun surprise activities which brought a smile to everyone’s faces!

Well done today! Tomorrow is day 3 “Slime Sensory Lab”, where we will learn about the 5 senses and students will make various kinds of slime by hand 🖐️! It’s also the last day of our first batch of summer school activities.

Next week we have more project based learning activists and another EIKEN workshop! And personally, I’m enjoying summer in the air conditioned classroom ☺️.
