【design et al Accolade Awards 2026 | 🏆Venice Winner🏆】

感激のベネチアでのアワードセレモニーから、ちょうど一週間。

先日いただいた動画を見返していると、あの日の感動が鮮やかによみがえります。

一つのプロジェクトは決して一人では成し遂げられません。

クライアント、インテリアデザイナー、建築家（私の場合は兼任ですが）、施工者、FF&Eデザイナー、サプライヤーの皆様、そして尊敬する職人の皆様。

多くの方々が同じベクトルを向き、コンセプトに寄り添いながら、一つひとつ丁寧に空間を創り上げていく。その積み重ねがあってこそ、良い建築やインテリアが生まれるのだと思います。

私は最後に全体をまとめる立場として、オーケストラでいうならば指揮者であり、時にはコンサートマスターの役割も担います。しかし、この賞は誰か一人の力でいただけたものではありません。

誰一人欠けても成し得なかった賞です。

関わってくださったすべての皆様へ、心より感謝申し上げます。

One week has passed since the unforgettable award ceremony in Venice.

Watching the video again brings back all the emotions and excitement of that very special moment.

A project can never be achieved by one person alone.

Clients, interior designers, architects (a role I also undertake), contractors, FF&E designers, suppliers, and the highly skilled craftspeople whose expertise brings ideas to life.

Creating meaningful spaces requires many people working towards the same vision, respecting the concept, and contributing their knowledge, passion, and dedication along the way.

My role is often similar to that of a conductor in an orchestra, and at times also the concertmaster, bringing together many different talents and guiding the project towards a shared goal.

However, this award was not mine alone.

It would not have been possible without every single person involved in the journey.

【Shortlisted for BIID Interior Design Awards 2026】

嬉しいご報告をさせていただきます。

所属している英国のインテリアデザイン団体 BIID（British Institute of Interior Design）主催「BIID Interior Design Awards 2026」にて、弊社プロジェクト「Urban House in TOKYO」が、International – Residential 部門のショートリストに選出されました。

本年度より海外メンバーの応募が本格的にスタートし、今回初めて挑戦したアワードとなります。
写真審査だけではなく、事前資料やプレゼンテーションシートを含めた総合的な審査が行われる中、59組のショートリステッドの一つに選出いただけたことを大変光栄に思っております。

本プロジェクトは、東京に建つ築40年のRC住宅のフルリノベーションです。
既存建築の断面を丁寧に読み解きながら、不要な要素を削ぎ落とし、設備配管まで含めて空間全体を美しく整理した上で、建築とインテリアの両面から再構築を行いました。

選出してくださった審査員の皆様、そしてプロジェクトに関わってくださったすべての皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。

授賞式は、10月。その場に参加できる事が非常に嬉しいです。

Honoured to share that “Urban House in TOKYO” has been shortlisted in the International – Residential category of the BIID Interior Design Awards 2026 by the British Institute of Interior Design.

This was my first entry to the Awards following the full launch of international submissions this year, and I am truly grateful to have been selected as one of the 59 shortlisted projects.

Urban House in TOKYO is a full renovation of a 40-year-old reinforced concrete residence in Tokyo, reconstructed through both architectural and interior design approaches.

My sincere thanks to the judges and everyone involved in this project.
