オープンキャンパスで、よくいただく質問です😊
実は、中央情報専門学校には、この時間割にした大きな理由があります。
IT・Web学科では、1年生の12月にプレゼンテーション大会を開催します🎉
入学したばかりの学生も、約8か月後には自分で考えた作品を制作し、みんなの前で発表します。
しかも、この作品制作は2年生へ進級するための大切な課題です。
もちろん、入学時はほとんどの学生がIT初心者です。
だからこそ、授業は基礎からゆっくり、そして丁寧に進めていきます📚
しかし、学校の授業だけでは、自分だけの作品を完成させることはできません。
「こんなアプリを作りたい！」
「こんなWebサイトを作りたい！」
「もっとPythonを学びたい！」
そんな学生一人ひとりの夢やアイデアを形にできるように、午後の時間を確保しています。
その時間を使って、

など、自分の目標に合わせて自由に学ぶことができます✨

💻✨ There is a reason why IT & Web students have fewer classes in the afternoon! ✨💻
One of the most common questions we receive during our Open Campus is:
“Why are there fewer classes in the afternoon?”
The answer is simple.
At Chuo College of Information and Management, there is a clear educational purpose behind this schedule.
Every December, first-year students in the IT & Web Department participate in a Presentation Day, where they create and present their own original projects.
Even students who have never studied programming before are expected to develop a project after about eight months of learning.
This project is also an important requirement for advancing to the second year.
Since most students start as complete beginners, our classes are designed to be careful, step by step, and easy to understand.
However, classroom learning alone is not enough to build an original project.
Students need time to explore their own ideas.
“I want to create my own app.”
“I want to build a website.”
“I want to learn more about Python.”
To support these goals, we intentionally keep the afternoons available for independent learning.
Students use this time to:
💻 Practice programming
🌐 Build websites
🤖 Develop their own projects
👨🏫 Ask teachers for guidance
👥 Collaborate with classmates
Our goal is not simply to teach students how to use technology.
We want them to become people who can learn independently, think creatively, and build something of their own.
That’s why we value not only classroom learning, but also the time students spend creating, exploring, and growing.
