Adding to the dream of KAMUN’s four founding officers and the officers whom succeeded them last year, we are looking forward to usher the conference into an era of success in order to assert itself as one of the best conferences around. In April 2012, the latest wave of KAMUN officers were chosen: Awn Al-Hadeed, Sama Yaish, and Walid Salah. All of whom have been great servants to the cause over the past years and share a plethora of experiences. They have set out to ensure that KAMUN'13 improves from previous conferences, albeit being a difficult task. His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized on the concepts of respect and communication whilst commenting on KAMUN back in 2010. He also went on to say "I hope that this first successful conference will not be the last", and we have seen it as our duty to make sure His Majesty isn't disappointed. We sincerely hope that we can build on the success of the two previous conferences, and can't wait for the thought provoking and intellectually stimulating debate. We are also pleased to announce the introduction of three new forums this year in the shape of the International Criminal Court, the Disarmament Commission, and the Crisis Committee, all interesting and powerful forums that ensure a wide variety of debate structures with the utmost quality.
