The American University of Madaba (AUM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with JoPACC, marking a new milestone in advancing FinTech innovation.

This strategic partnership will connect AUM students to the JOIN Fincubator programs, offering opportunities in research, project development, specialized training, and hackathons.

These initiatives are designed to sharpen technical expertise, support entrepreneurial ideas, and prepare graduates to thrive in Jordan’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

Professor Adi Arida, President of AUM, emphasized the importance of building strong national partnerships that enrich the educational experience, while JoPACC CEO Mrs. Maha Bahou highlighted the role of empowering young talent and linking them to Jordan’s fintech ecosystem. Together, AUM and JoPACC are bridging academia with industry to drive innovation forward and build the future of Jordan’s digital economy.

The American University of Madaba Hosts the 2026 Orthodox Youth Cup Football Tournament

As part of its commitment to supporting youth initiatives and strengthening partnerships with the local community, the American University of Madaba hosted the 2026 Orthodox Youth Cup Football Tournament on its sports fields last Friday, in cooperation with the Scouts and Guides Group of the Greek Orthodox Church in Madaba.

The tournament featured an enthusiastic sporting atmosphere and excellent organization, running from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eight teams participated, with more than 200 students and parents attending and contributing to the lively and encouraging atmosphere throughout the day.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the Scout leadership expressed its sincere appreciation to the University and to Coach Mo’tasem Abu Qaoud, presenting him with a commemorative shield in recognition of his dedicated efforts and successful organization of the tournament.

Sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this distinguished sporting event, and congratulations to all participating teams.

AUM Delivers Complimentary English Enhancement Course for Caritas Jordan Staff

As part of the American University of Madaba's commitment to community service, the Language Center, in collaboration with the Consultation, Studies, and Training Center, successfully delivered a complimentary English Enhancement Course for employees of the Caritas Jordan in Madaba. The 12-hour course was conducted over four weeks by Ms. Fadia AlSafadi to strengthen participants' English language and workplace communication skills. Certificates were awarded upon successful completion of the course, reaffirming AUM's commitment to supporting community development through quality educational and training initiatives.

AUM Students Participated in the Activities of the 2026 Jordanian National Youth Conference

Students from the American University of Madaba, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, participated in the activities of the 2026 Jordanian National Youth Conference, held under the theme "Next Generation Conference." The event was held under the patronage of former Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh and brought together a broad participation of young people and national institutions.

The students' participation reflected the University's commitment to encouraging their engagement in national initiatives aimed at developing their capabilities and enhancing their skills, in line with its mission of preparing active young leaders capable of contributing to the country's sustainable development.

The conference sought to empower young people, foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and raise awareness of the latest technological and economic developments. This was achieved through panel discussions and specialized workshops that addressed the key issues, challenges, and opportunities facing youth amid today's rapidly changing environment.
