CABI's โ€œ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌโ€ database which is a growing collection of case studies written by international practitioners and academics. We invite scholars to submit proposals/abstracts no longer than 250 words with an outline of the topic of the case study, which must be related to tourism in the MENA region. The following is an indicative list of suggested areas for case studies though we are very open to hearing other proposals as well:

Tourism, culture, art and creativity
Tourism and sustainability
Tourism and climate change
Tourism and local community
Tourism and power relations (e.g., gendered, racial, ethnic, colonial, political, etc.)

Tourism in parks and protected areas
Tourism in urban and rural areas
Tourism planning
Hospitality management

If you are interested in submitting a Case Study for this special issue of Tourism Cases, please send a 250 word abstract outlining your proposed case to the guest editors Paolo Mura ([email protected]) or Mohammad Alazaizeh ([email protected]) by the specified date above.

We will then invite full submissions from those we believe will make a strong contribution to the special issue based on relevance and fit.

CABI is paying ยฃ100 for each case study published in Tourism Cases following the successful conclusion of its double-blind, peer-reviewed process.
