Please find below information re service of Thanksgiving for Althea LaMont who served on the Executive of the Ardenne Alumni Association as Membership Coordinator from 2016 to 2022.

We continue to pray the strengthen of her family, friends and the wider Ardenne Alumni Community during this period of bereavement.

We have lost a brilliant star in our Stardennite sky...

Our Donald Oliver was a shooting star...brilliant, full of light. He displayed a great and undeniable level of professionalism in journalism, with a passionate nod towards covering our Caribbean sporting arena, providing a crisp, clean delivery of the sports reports, and of recently, his special Observer documentary series covering Jamaica's Road to Recovery - Post Hurricane Melissa in the later part of this year.

Fot those who knew him personally, he was a kind hearted and dear friend, a man of virtue, the perfect gentleman who loved his family, his friends and a lover of life overall.

Ardenne High School has copped the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Marcus Garvey Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts for the 15th year.

The 2025 presentation was held on Wednesday (October 15) at the Little Theatre in Kingston.

The coveted Marcus Garvey Award recognises the group or school that has accumulated the most points in three or more performance disciplines in the annual performing arts competition.

Here is a chance to shape the future, reconnect with fellow past students. Come hear firsthand how we are preparing for Ardenne’s centennial celebration and other matters.
