I would like to use this medium to advise all members that use this platform that I NO longer work at Spanish Town High School. If I am able to provide guidance as you getting assistance with a query I will. I have removed my contact due to persons calling me to ask if my number was affiliated to the school it is not. School reopens on Monday September 2nd, 2024.

Dear School Community:

Following the recent Teachers in Concert event held on June 14, 2024 at our school, we have become aware of concerns regarding the performance by the artist 'Sita'. We acknowledge the feedback we have received and would like to address the issues raised.

Upon reflection, it is evident that the arrival of 'Sita' with the promoter at the last minute and her inclusion in the lineup without prior notification to the coordinators of the event contributed to an unforeseen deviation from the planned artist list and the corresponding vetting process for the repertoire of songs. We recognize that this resulted in an inappropriate song being performed and understand the impact it has had on the school community.

We understand and acknowledge the disappointment and concern that has been expressed. It is regrettable that the song performed was not aligned with the standards and values we uphold in our school environment.

Additionally, we urge our school community to focus on the positive messages shared during the event by other performers, which emphasized the importance of following dreams, pursuing education, and staying focused on one's goals. We encourage our students to embrace these positive messages and the valuable lessons that they represent.

We are committed to addressing the situation and conducting a thorough review of our event coordination protocols to prevent similar occurrences in the future. It is imperative that we reaffirm our dedication to upholding the standards and values of our school in all aspects of our operations.

We appreciate the support and understanding of our school community as we take the necessary steps to address and learn from this situation. Furthermore, we have received a formal apology from Sita's management team for the inappropriate song performed by the artiste.

1. Registration Form
2. Medical Forms (Print and take to the doctor for completion)
3. Make Payment of fees online. $1500 for PTA and $8500 for School Development Fund.

All grades 7, 8 and 9 students will be on one shift.

Grades 10 and 11 students will be on the other shift.
