There’s a little song that I learnt at Infant school and I will never forget it. It goes like this. Sing along with me if you know it.😊
“Dig them up.
Root them out.
All the little habits in the field of life.
ENVY, JEALOUSY, MALICE and PRIDE.
They shall never in MY heart abide.”
Think about it, one and all.
It was a joke, singing it at the infant level.
Envy was Ensy
Pride was Price.😊
I post it to say that this song has become a part of my entire life.
When will we root out all these bad weeds from
Our Garden of Life?

I am amazed with what is happening here. Not a follower of Donna not I must commend her wholeheartedly for her contribution in using her time to help poor people. She has certainly dedicated her entire life to this worthy cause.

The Ministry of Education and Youth will be employing various teacher retention strategies for the 2024/25 academic year, which begins in September. Acting Chief Education Officer, Terry-Ann Thomas Gayle, advised that teachers are being sought from various countries.

Who will be the future men and women in this country. So many children, especially the young men are leaving us tragically. So sad.

The body of a 10-year-old boy was discovered in a pond on Holland Estate in Trelawny on Thursday. He has been identified as Alcayde Palmer of Zion in Martha Brae. He was a grade five student at Granville Primary School. An investigating officer attached to the Trelawny police told The Gleaner that Palmer was reported missing at 8 a.m. Thursday. A search team was dispatched to the area. Palmer's body was discovered in the pond about 10 a.m.
