Port Antonio High School Class of 2006

Port Antonio High School Class of 2006 This prestigious institution has produced past students who are now world class leaders and innovators and contributing significantly to nation building.

It was in September 2001 when this batch first entered through the gates of this noble institution. We were met by friends from our respective junior schools as well as the warm and friendly staff members. Immediately we began to enjoy the beautiful school environment that was to become our playing ground for the next five years. For many of us, it was a nerve rocking moment given the fact that we

were in a new environment which most of us were not accustomed to. Nonetheless, overtime we got familiar with each other, settled in and ready to work. Throughout our years at this school, we all tried our utmost best to keep up with the rigorous curriculum with a zeal to succeed. On July 6, 2006 132 students graduated, most of us were high achievers in our CXCs which was the beginning of greatness. To date, this graduating class is notably one of the most successful batch. Many of our peers have graduated with high commendation from UTECH, UWI, NCU, ICU, CASE, Teacher Colleges and some of the most prestigious international universities. This page was created to be use as a tool to link past students from this graduating class; in an effort to stay connected and share the good moments.

St. Mary High girls and Port Antonio boys are champions of the east. They both recorded comfortable victories at Tuesday’s (27 April) Eastern Championships at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Port Antonio High prevailed over Brimmervale High as they defeated them 5-0 in their daCosta Cup inter-zone match at Lynch Park on Saturday, October 15, 2016.

The goal scorers were #20-D'Angelo King in the 8th minute, #14- Ramone Russell in the 30th minute, #9- Odane Jacks in the 55th minute, #16- Dillion Nugent in the 67th minute and #11- Jahmani Hamilton in the 74th minute.

Following their lose to Dintill Technical in their previous inter-zone match, Port Antonio high's coach Marlon Hylton had high praises for his team. He said, "coming from a defeat against Dintill, these guys were down but not out, so they went back and got the training done and came here today in high spirits and got the job done."
"Our strategy coming here today was solely about scoring goals as Dintill would be hosting this team (Brimmervale) as well and they have an extra game to play against Steer Town so it was a must win situation."
"We are looking forward to winning the Steer Town match as it is a must win to get into the Quarter-finals," said Hylton.
