On Monday the 16th March , 2026 the CWL of Stella Maris church conducted devotion with Father Jude at New Day primary school . Devotion was filled with lively songs ,prayers and God’s words taken from the Book of the prophet Isaiah which promised long life to believers .
Father concluded devotion by blessing as many of the students and teachers as he could individually .
A wonderful well spent morning of grace and love .
This devotion further cements the ongoing partnership the Stella Maris church has with the New Day school .

On the 29th January , 2026 New Day school Grants Pen had its prize giving ceremony under the theme “ Champions of Learning , celebrating excellence “.
The event was a wonderful celebration of achievements for the students of the school .
The students were given awards for excellence in academics and sports .
Parents were on hand to celebrate with their children and in some cases to accept awards, as a few of them were at a chess tournament at Jesse Rippol High School.
Awards ceremonies like this one are incentive tools geared towards enhancing the overall performance of the school .
The alumni believes in celebrating excellence as when our children do well it will enhance nation building . We therefore look forward to your continued support for the 2025/2026 school year .
