✨Divine connections create lasting impact✨

In July 2022, I met Sara-Lou at a simple business breakfast. One heartfelt conversation led to a speaking invitation at her youth camp for girls in state care. That single moment opened a door to purpose.

In 2023, I officially joined the —and together we poured our hearts into projects like Labor for Love, She Speaks, Echoes of Change, school visits, the women center and school Girls’ Day presentations just to name a few because we empower girls and boys across Jamaica. 🇯🇲

On May 31, I stood beside Sara-Lou as we received the Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Youth Development—as youth advocates, trainers, and facilitators. 🙌🏽

It’s an honor and a humbling reminder: the work we do matters. We are shaping lives, especially for the youths of Jamaica—and my beloved St. Thomas.

We’re not done yet. The mission continues.
We rise. We serve. We empower. 💫

🌟 From Seed to Impact! 🌟

In 2024, I signed up for an incredible opportunity with the YWOP REAP Women Entrepreneurship Project — a 6-week program proudly funded by the PriceSmart Foundation. 🙌🏽

Throughout the journey, we were empowered with tools, mentorship, and strategies to grow our businesses. The highlight? A dynamic Business Speed Session where successful Jamaican entrepreneurs gave us one-on-one insights into the world of business. 💼✨

At the end of the program, I was humbled and honored to be awarded "Entrepreneur Creating the Most Impact." 🏆🔥

Fast forward to 2025 — by applying everything I learned, I was given the opportunity to share my entrepreneurship journey with the YWOP Kingston Group. What a full circle moment! 🌱➡️🌳

Thank you, YWOP, for planting a seed of hope in me and my business. The growth continues. 💛

"Full circle moment! Wednesday was a day of nostalgia and purpose. I had the honor of going back to my alma mater, Happy Grove High School in Portland, as a facilitator with ALS Echo of Change project.

Our second stop on the Sexual Violence Sensitization Session tour was a success! We engaged with the boys, educating them on what constitutes sexual assault and the laws surrounding it.

It was a privilege to serve my old school and contribute to creating a safer and more respectful society for all. Let's continue to echo the change and break the silence around sexual violence!

"Yesterday was an impactful day! As a facilitator with Echo of Change project, I had the privilege of leading a Sexual Violence Sensitization Session with the boys at Yallahs High School.

The aim was to educate and sensitize the boys on what is sexual assault and the laws surrounding it. It's crucial that we empower our young men to become allies and champions of change in the fight against sexual violence.

The session was engaging, interactive, and sparked meaningful conversations. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project and contribute to creating a safer and more respectful society for all.

Last Saturday, I had the privilege of being the keynote speaker at the Shepherd House International Youth Empowerment Seminar!

Speaking on 'Embracing Values, Attitudes, and Beliefs,' I had the opportunity to pour into the next generation of leaders.

"COMPLIANCE MATTER"

According to a 2020 report by the Jamaican Charities Commission:

✨ Only 12% of charities (including churches) in Jamaica were registered and compliant with the Commission.
✨60% of charities were not registered.
✨28% were registered but not compliant.

A 2019 survey by the Jamaican Ministry of Finance and the Public Service found that:

✨ 70% of churches surveyed did not have adequate financial records.
✨50% did not have a governing board or Constitution.

These statistics suggest that a significant number of churches in Jamaica may not be fully compliant with regulations.
