Bullying has been around for a very long time and still we are "feeling around in the dark" as to how we can stop it. Many still don't understand bullying and believe that it will, by itself, goes away. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We need to be decisive in our approach and strategic in our planning if we should have a passing chance of putting an end to bullying. Parents/guardians need to
be educated and be proactive, School Based Professionals need to understand the implication of not properly addressing bullying in their schools, and the members of the community need to realize that unless they act, the children who are our future, will end up on the endangered species list.
