Hello everyone:

The institution now offers CXC classes at a very affordable cost. We offer classes in English and Mathematics (from basic level to CXC level) at a low cost of $1200.00 per subject. This fee is paid on a monthly basis.

Mathematics classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M.
English classes are held on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M.

Recent Cases of Malaria in Jamaica
Jamaica has identified two (2) IMPORTED cases of Malaria since the beginning of 2017. On January 5, 2017, there was one (1) confirmed case reported by the National Public Health Laboratory.
On January 6, 2017, there was another reported case by a private laboratory. Case investigation commenced immediately and the persons admitted to hospital.
The repeat blood smear for the second patient showed negative at the National Public Health Laboratory. Blood will be drawn nightly for at least three nights to determine the status of this patient.
In 2016, there were three (3) incidence cases of confirmed imported malaria in two (2) persons. One person visited Gabon twice and returned to Jamaica with malaria on both occasions.

Nationality & Travel History of the cases
The first case is a Jamaican National who was living in Ghana and returned to Jamaica in November 2016. The second case is a male, Indian National who arrived in Jamaica in March 2016.

Wash your hands as often as possible to prevent the spread of diseases. Germs can spread easily from person to person and make you sick. During the day, we may touch books, door k***s, tables, toys and other items that may contain germs.

You must always wash your hands:

Before You:

prepare or eat food
look after a sick person, or a baby
touch your eyes, nose or mouth

After You:

use the toilet
handle raw meat, chicken or fish
change a diaper
look after a sick person
sneeze, cough, blow or wipe your nose
touch animals or handle waste
handle garbage
have been out in the public

Registration is still open for Allied Health - Geriatric Care and Call Center Operations programs.

The office will be closed Thursday, December 22, 2016 for the holidays. We resume regular opening hours on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
