At our staff Christmas party each year I try to gift words of encouragement and celebration to each team member. I’m a crafter so I’ll do handmade bookmarks or cards.

We all need to feel seen and appreciated and I love that this tends to be the focus of this time of year.

What makes you feel safe - regardless of where in the world you may find yourself?

For me, Judith (type 5) I feel safe in solitude and/or when I have control over who’s around me. I feel safe on rainy/snowy days when I get to stay home 😌. I feel safe with family. I feel safe when I’m worshipping God and feel seen and heard by Him.

Two things every should remember
(1) compartmentalizing is a useful tool for everyone.
(2) opening certain boxes and encouraging integration can breathe life into your space.

As you can see, as a Type 5 and a Type 2, we naturally have 2 different approaches to this topic. For Monique, everything merges and is connected. For Judith, creating compartments is second nature.

We have both grown from challenging ourself to go against natural flow… at least in certain situations ✨Like for Monique at work and for Judith in her personal life.
