Congrats to the Jimmys

The band is incredibly honored to have won, for the first time, the WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award for Blues Band of the Year!! And Jimmy has now gone back-to-back as Organ Player of the Year!! The band award is incredibly special and has been 16 years in the making for The Jimmys and 30+ years for Jimmy himself, dating back to his days with Mel Ford and Westside Andy. The hours of hard work and dedication the boys have put in over all these years is just crazy to think about. Maybe good things finally do come to those who wait.
Perry got the honor of receiving the award on Sunday night on the band's behalf.
(As the voice of the band, I try to write in the 3rd person almost all of the time, but I cannot go without saying that I teared up when Jimmy told me the band had won. I know just how much this means to him.)
