Have you ever thought about volunteering but never really had the the time to attend a physical setting? Well Discover Education by JAYECAN is just right for you. With this project, youths across the island can partake in a free online tutoring programme that is geared at assisting CAPE and CSEC students. Here is how it works:
1. We need volunteers to agree to be tutors and post bi-weekly notes, prep tests and videos using the edmodo.com portal.
2. We need volunteers who will commit two hours per week as a live agent for the new Discover Education live support feature.
3. Students who are going to pursue CSEC/CAPE subjects in the upcoming year will sign up and enter live virtual classrooms that will allow them to interact with tutors and other students across Jamaica who are also to pursue exams.
