Celebrating Our Heritage, Celebrating Our Pride! πŸ‡―πŸ‡²
A huge thank you to our amazing parents who joined us on Friday, November 14, 2025, to celebrate Heritage Day with our little ones! πŸŽ‰

Under the theme "Proud and Bold Jamaican," our babies showcased our rich cultural heritage through our cuisine, highlighting the influences of our African, English, and Chinese roots. πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ•ΊπŸ½. Out of Many one People!

A massive shoutout to our talented teachers and staff for preparing our students for this special day! πŸ‘ And to our parents, thank you for your unwavering support - we couldn't do it without you! πŸ™

To our valued parents and dedicated staff, you are invited to a special session on 'Healing Hearts, Restoring Hope' with renowned counseling psychologist Dr. DaSilva. As we continue to rebuild and recover from the impact of Hurricane Melissa, this session aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for us to process our emotions and work towards healing.

Join us on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Foga Road Infant auditorium, where we'll embark on a journey of resilience and hope. Let's come together to support each other and build a stronger, more compassionate community.

We look forward to seeing you there!"

Every Friday, our students gather for exciting club meetings!

This week, we're shining the spotlight on our Police Cubs Club!

We're changing the narrative and teaching our students that members of the Jamaica Constabulary are our friends!

As Police Cubs, our students are learning valuable lessons about law enforcement, safety, and community service!

We're proud of our young Police Cubs and can't wait to see the positive impact they'll make in their communities!

"Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!

Today, our groundsman, Mr. Sullivan, faced a challenge while renovating our play area to meet ECC standards. A jackhammer got stuck in the student play equipment tyre!

But, with the power of teamwork and community spirit, we were able to solve the problem!

Huge thank you to Chef Reid, Janitor Dyer, Watchman Mrs. Frazer, P.T. A. President Mr. Fisher and Community member Pastor Tulloch for lending a helping hand!

At Foga Road Infant School, we're not just building a playground. We're building a community!

It is a family affair!
Our amazing teachers had a blast sharing breakfast and lunch with students in the lunchroom! The menu featured delicious cornmeal porridge, chicken in barbecue sauce with rice and peas.

But that's not all! Our students are learning the importance of valuing our environment from a young age. They're getting their hands dirty and being active in the school's garden.

A huge thank you to our incredible stakeholders, particularly the Clarendon 4-H Club, for providing the resources to make this happen!

And guess what? Our students recently learned about planting escallion in recycled tires! Talk about innovative gardening
