Congratulations to our club president, Sanica Montaque. On Monday, she was awarded the ESME Morgan Early Childhood Education Scholarship, donated by Hubert and Joseph Morgan. This is a full scholarship for the academic year. Continue to strive for excellence madam president you have our full support. 🎉🎉🎉

Youth week starting of with a bang!🔥

Congratulations to Mickaylia McIntosh (Project manager), Taffari Sewell (Vice President) and Teneisha White (Treasurer). These ladies are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education specialization in English Language (Double Major) and are receipients of the Warren Warren Bursary.

This donation was an initiative of the Language Arts Department to help offset tuition cost of bright and in need students. The donor is Mr.Garfield Warren, Owner and Manager of Hillside Ironworks, USA. We are extremely proud of our clubites! Keep striving for excellence!!

Congratulations to the graduating class of 2023 🎓. Valedictory Ceremony marks the completion of an important milestone in your academic, professional, and personal development.

You have faced many challenges, and with the help of your families, friends and peers, you have overcome and become beacons of excellence. Continue to seek knowledge and understanding and take caution from the words of Alvin Toffler, author of the book Future Shock, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn”. Remember also that education without character is meaningless.

As you proceed to the next stage in your lives, we urge you to use the values and ethical principles inculcated at BMC to guide your choices. Always serve with distinction and be guided by the spirit of excellence and social outreach, the bedrock of your club's existence.

Britania McCallum is the top academic performer in her year group. She is a member of the club's writing team and also a member of the Beacon Magazine Committee.
